This is a book I am reading now. Great!!! Stories about hoarders and why they keep what they do.

A great organizing book. If you have ever heard me talk about the "Kindergarten Model of Organizing"...this is the book to read.

What to do with unwanted clutter
Give away (but ask first) - family members; friends; family/friends setting up new home/apartment; university or college bound relatives/friends
Swap - host a clothing swap party with your friends
Donate - Women's Shelters; Charities that pick up at your door, i.e. CF, Diabetes; Drop-off boxes - Salvation Army, Goodwill, Value Village; Rummage Sales - churches, schools, groups
Consignment Shops
Sell - local newspaper; flyer on bulletin board at local grocery store, e-Bay, Craigslist.ca; Garage Sale; Freecycle.org
Towels - your local Animal Shelter
E-Cycling
